The price of the Acer Predator XB27OU gaming monitor is $329.99 at Best Buy as of October 23, 2026. This figure reflects a $50 reduction from the previous price tag.
The display utilizes a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Tom's Hardware notes that this QHD resolution is suitable for mid-range gaming PCs because graphics cards can easily meet the frame rate and resolution requirements.
The monitor operates at a 240Hz refresh rate. It also features a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03ms, a metric enabled by the OLED technology. According to Tom's Hardware, these specifications provide smooth motion in games and prevent the ghosting artifacts common in slower displays.
The screen supports AMD's FreeSync Premium. This technology synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with the frame rate generated by the game. The process eliminates screen tearing and improves the visual experience for players.
Color accuracy is another feature of the QD-OLED panel. The XB27OU covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It maintains a Delta E accuracy below 2. The monitor also supports HDR10, a 10-bit standard that increases contrast, color depth, and brightness relative to standard dynamic range.
The device includes two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. These connections allow users to link a gaming PC and multiple game consoles to a single screen. Tom's Hardware describes the current pricing as a favorable option for integrating QD-OLED technology into a gaming setup at a lower cost.
