A prisoner left a Lewisham medical facility on Friday afternoon, and police across London are now searching for him.
Lloyd forced his way out of the health unit shortly after 4pm on Friday, the Metropolitan police said. He was last seen about 10 minutes later in Catford, heading in that direction. Officers believe he could be anywhere in the capital. Police also say he has ties to Surrey, Sussex, Thames Valley, Hampshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Merseyside. Lloyd is 38, white, about 5ft 8in, with a medium build and short dark hair. He wore a grey-blue T-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers when last seen.
Det supt Melanie Pressley leads the search. Officers are "conducting various significant inquiries to find Lloyd and return him to custody," she said. She described the concern this way: "We are concerned he poses a risk both to himself and the public, and would urge anyone who sees him to call 999 immediately. Do not approach him." Police have asked the public not to approach him.
According to the Press Association, Lloyd was convicted in 2025 of actual bodily harm for an incident in Nottinghamshire involving three emergency services workers. He received a 12-month custodial sentence. He entered the Lewisham medical facility in September.
The Metropolitan police have asked anyone with information, however small, to contact officers and quote reference CAD4739/23Oct. Calls should go to 999.
