Your wallet may survive the upcoming holiday season thanks to a sudden wave of price cuts across major consumer electronics. Shoppers can currently snag some of the deepest discounts of the year on smartphones, tablets, and home entertainment systems. These offers appear to be timed to coincide with the imminent arrival of highly anticipated video games, creating a unique opportunity to upgrade your gear before the next big spending cycle.
The headline news involves Google’s latest wearable and foldable devices. The Pixel Watch 5 has seen its price drop significantly, with the 41mm LTE model hitting a record low of $399.99. This specific configuration is now cheaper than its recent fall sale price. For those eyeing larger screens, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is available in open-box condition for under $1,500, marking a substantial departure from its standard retail cost.
Tablet buyers also have new options to consider. Lenovo’s latest Tab Plus device has reached its lowest price ever, dropping to the mid-$250 range when a specific code is applied. This unit boasts a large 2.5K display and a robust audio system, making it a strong candidate for media consumption. A higher storage version is also available at a competitive rate on major online marketplaces.
Samsung is competing in the foldable space by slashing prices on its Z Fold 8 lineup. Open-box units in excellent condition are seeing reductions that exceed several hundred dollars. The top-tier 512GB model is experiencing the steepest cut, offering a way to enter Samsung’s latest hardware without paying the full sticker price found elsewhere.
Television shoppers should look to LG’s OLED evo series. The 55-inch model has hit its lowest point since launch, sitting at just under $1,000. This timing is notable as it aligns with the release of major titles like Grand Theft Auto VI. Larger sizes are also discounted, and some retailers are adding free peripherals to sweeten the deal.
Smarter home gadgets are not immune to these savings. Ring’s new 2K doorbells are available for roughly half their regular price, a figure that is nearly at their all-time low. Smart security cameras and streaming sticks from Amazon are also seeing significant markdowns, with the new Fire TV Stick 4K hitting its lowest recorded price. Laptops and charging hubs are also included in this broad category of reduced costs.
