You Can See Everything earned $11.4 million over the weekend. The total pushed the film to the number one position at domestic theaters. It displaced Clayface, a DC Studios horror movie, from the top spot. A24 confirmed the rankings to ABC Audio on Monday.
The North American total for the documentary is now $64.7 million. The film debuted in theaters on Oct. 16. It is an experimental project that runs nearly three hours. Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim created the work. Fielder is known for the show Nathan For You.
The movie documents the lives of Elizabeth Holmes and her partner, Billy Evans. They invited the crew to film in the weeks before Holmes began serving her prison sentence. She is serving the sentence for defrauding Theranos investors. The title references a popular Halloween costume pairing of Fielder and Holmes.
Clayface finished second with $11 million in revenue. That amount was $200,000 less than the documentary. Wildwood and Wicker took the third and fourth spots respectively. The video game adaptation Street Fighter rounded out the top five.
A24 stated the film has not yet opened in overseas markets. The studio said it will begin releases in other countries soon. The domestic run continues for the next scheduled period.
