Gamers shopping at Newegg can now purchase the ABS Stratos II Ruby pre-built system for $2,549.99. This price represents a $450 reduction from the original list cost. The machine targets players who want a ready-to-use setup without the hassle of assembling individual components.
The system is built around two primary components: the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. The processor is an eight-core chip that uses AMD's 3D V-Cache technology to expand its L3 cache to 96MB. This larger cache allows the chip to access data faster, reducing latency and helping maintain stable frame rates during gameplay.
Tom's Hardware notes that while the 9800X3D is no longer the absolute top performer in their CPU benchmarks, it remains extremely close. The outlet also states that no Intel processor currently matches the gaming performance of AMD's X3D line. This makes the chip a strong choice for users prioritizing consistent frame times over raw multi-core processing speed.
On the graphics side, the RTX 5070 Ti features 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. This card supports Nvidia's DLSS multi-frame generation technology, which helps achieve high frame rates in 4K gaming with ray tracing enabled. The 16GB of video memory provides more capacity than the 8GB found in lower-end cards like the RTX 5060, allowing for smoother performance in demanding titles.
The system includes 32GB of DDR5 memory, specifically two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage is handled by a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. This drive offers enough space for multiple large game installations. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet, while a Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages heat from the processor.
Tom's Hardware identifies this specific configuration as the cheapest RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC currently available on Newegg. The outlet describes the price as strong for the current market given the combination of hardware. They expect the offer to sell out quickly due to the value provided by the discount.
