Samsung has locked in a 40-device rollout for its upcoming One UI 9 software. The company published an official schedule detailing which Galaxy phones and tablets will receive the Android 17-based update. While the timeline was released by Samsung Japan, the hardware list is expected to apply to users globally.

The update began arriving in September on the Galaxy S26 series. It has since reached select devices from the previous generation. The new list expands the reach of the software to a wide range of flagships, foldables, and mid-range hardware.

Flagship smartphones on the schedule include the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. The Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra are also confirmed, along with the Galaxy S24, S24 Ultra, S24 FE, S23, and S23 Ultra. Foldable devices included in the batch are the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5.

Mid-range options and tablets make up the rest of the roster. Samsung listed the Galaxy A57, A55, A54, A36, and A25. The tablet lineup covers the Galaxy Tab S11, S11 Ultra, S10 series, S10 FE variants, S10 Lite, S9 series, S9 FE variants, Tab S6 Lite (2024), Tab A11, Tab A11+/5G, and Tab Active 5 Pro.

The company stated that updates will arrive in Japan across October and November 2026. Global rollouts are expected to continue beyond that window. Many entry-level devices are likely to receive the software through December and January.

The published list is not exhaustive. It omits several "Plus" versions of recent Galaxy S flagships and numerous Galaxy A models. Devices sold in specific regional markets may also be excluded from this particular schedule.

Samsung is expected to maintain a steady pace for the global deployment. The initial batch covers the most prominent hardware in the company's current lineup. Owners of the listed devices can now anticipate specific timing for the software arrival.
