Whitney Leavitt confirmed on Wednesday that she will star in and produce a new reality series for Hulu. The announcement marks a major shift for the influencer, who will trade her role on E!'s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives for a dedicated project focused on her family life.
Leavitt teased the upcoming show through a joint Instagram Reel with Hulu and the account @GetRealHulu. The video referenced long-standing fan speculation about a new series. She paired the post with the simple caption "see you soon." Hulu has not yet released a title or a premiere date for the program.
Deadline reports that the series will document Leavitt's family as they manage her rising profile and career goals. The description emphasizes that the family will keep their relationships at the center of their daily lives. This approach distinguishes the new project from her previous work on the reality circuit.
The new commitment arrives months after Leavitt left Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. She announced her exit in May during her final performance as Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago. In a September 4 interview on Good Morning America, she described leaving after the fifth season as closing a specific chapter of her life.
Leavitt added that she had attempted to depart the show multiple times in the past. She stated that this final departure felt positive for everyone involved. Beyond the Hulu series, she is set to appear in Netflix's holiday rom-com All for Love, which releases on November 24. She also begins a run in the Broadway play Just in Time on December 1.
