Maryland residents are experiencing dry and mild conditions on Tuesday as they cast votes. Early morning fog along the Eastern Shore is lifting, and temperatures are rising steadily. By mid-morning, the mercury is expected to reach the mid-50s. The most comfortable voting hours stretch from late morning through the early evening. Lunchtime temperatures will hover near 70 degrees, while the afternoon will feature partly sunny skies and lows in the 70s. The weather remains quiet after work, with temperatures staying in the 60s until polls close at 8 p.m.

Moisture moving in from the south will bring thicker, more widespread fog to Wednesday mornings. Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time. The fog should burn off by 10 a.m. The rest of the day will be partly sunny and breezy, with high temperatures climbing into the lower to middle 70s. Cloud cover will increase as the day progresses.

Rain is forecast to return to central and eastern Maryland after a dry period lasting more than two weeks. Scattered showers will develop on Thursday morning, ending the dry spell. The highest chance for precipitation will occur in the morning, with intermittent light showers possible through the evening. The Ravens will play the Jaguars at M&T Bank Stadium at 8:15 p.m. The game is expected to see a few showers but not a washout. Temperatures during the game should remain in the mid to upper 60s.

Steady and potentially heavy rain is expected to develop on Friday. Areas along and especially east of I-95 face the best chance for this rain. The Maryland and Delaware beaches are likely to receive the heaviest amounts. Forecasters suggest monitoring updates in case the rain system shifts westward.

The weekend will be bright, brisk, and seasonably cool. High temperatures will stay in the 60s for both Saturday and Sunday. Winds are expected to be blustery, with gusts reaching 20 to 30 mph on both days.
